How to identify actual Christians from people who claim to be Christians?

I. Unity vs Uniformity

A. Unity being us getting along and understanding the beliefs of other believers.

B. Uniformity is having to agree on everything all the time.

C. The church should have unity, not uniformity.

II. Essentials

A. Who is God?

B. Who is Jesus?

C. What about the Bible?

D. How do you get Salvation?

E. What about Sin?

F. What about the Resurrection and second Coming?

G. How do you view the Church (global)?

III. Non-Essentials (these matter! but these don't disqualify someone from being a Christian)

A. Details about the 2nd Coming (understanding that Jesus IS coming back, the details aren't essential)

B. How someone votes
